“A memorable experience – made even more memorable by the staff!”
Well, words can’t convey our appreciation to the staff at the Saison, for making our Mum’s surprise birthday party an absolute success! My two sisters and I, who are geographically based throughout the UK, felt we would struggle trying to make all necessary arrangements. Why were we worried!
Gopal and Bhupal liaised with us by email and telephone and met with our Aunty and Rob the Musselburgh music man (who was fantastic) to ensure all our requests were considered.
As our Mum was born and bred in Musselburgh and most of our family live there, we felt it fitting to hold the party there and wanted a good venue. If you don’t know where the Saison is, it’s not easy to find but once you know, it’s easy! Suffice to say, near the racecourse and golf course.
The staff accommodated us on the day of the party to let us finalise plans and helped us even place decorations on tables etc. The buffet was excellent and constantly replenished. Service was of the highest standard and let me tell you, I’m a demanding person and fussy on standards! We have a huge close family and I can honestly say, the staffs are like family! My Mum also received a lovely card and invitation to go for a complimentary meal at a later date. Everyone is still talking about the night on the 12th January 2013 and I understand my Aunts and Uncles and my Mum and Chic are going today for lunch. (The racing has been cancelled due to conditions) I wish I was there! Please support the Saison, they deserve it so much! I can’t wait to go again when home.
